Cork trio lead the line for under-18s

Cork trio, Billy Clarke, Jamie Meehan and Alan Kearney, will spearhead the Republic of Ireland under-18s' attempts to beat Norway today in the second match of the Falkenberg tournament in Sweden.

Meehan (Maymount) scored Ireland's goal in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Slovakia after coming on as a substitute along with Kearney (Everton) while Clarke (Ipswich Town) started the match though this will be the first time the trio have started together.

There are a number of other changes from Tuesday's game with goalkeeper Michael Keohane (IMG Soccer Academy) coming in for his first ever start in an Ireland shirt while Conor McMahon (Home Farm) and Darren Stapleton (Reading) will slot in at full back.

Peter Castle (Reading) and Marc Wilson (Portsmouth) both keep their places in the side after impressive debuts against Slovakia. Team:

Ireland U-18 side: Keohane (IMG Soccer Academy); McMahon (Home Farm), Synott (Ipswich Town), Castle (Reading), Stapleton (Reading); Chambers (Shelbourne), Wilson (Portsmouth), Morris (Leeds United); Clarke (Ipswich Town), Kearney (Everton), Meehan (Maymount).
