Injury and suspension hit Saints shocked Drogheda by taking a 10th minute lead.
Fahey punished a poor clearance to lob Gary Rogers who was way off his line.
Aidan O’Keeffe got the second on 29 minutes when racing clear and latching on to Fahey’s sublime pass to shoot past Rogers.
The win sees St Pat’s move up to seventh place.
