Carvalho says he wants to leave Porto

Porto defender Ricardo Carvalho has told Portugese newspaper Correio da Manha that he wants to leave the European Champions in the next two years.

He said: "My goal is to leave, either this season or the next. I know there are clubs interested in me and there are good opportunities to leave, but FC Porto has the last word. I feel really welcome at FC Porto, but it is natural to always want more and better things. It would be important for my career to try new things."

Porto have already rejected an offer from Real Madrid for the 26-year-old. Porto have lost their coach and two players since beating Monaco 3-0 in the Champions League final on May 26.

Coach Jose Mourinho and right back Paulo Ferreira have gone to  Chelsea while midfield star Deco has signed for Barcelona. Mourinho is reportedly also keen on taking Porto midfielder Costinha to London.
