Denmark head coach Morten Olsen was furious about his team's defending after
they had outfought the Czech Republic in the first half of last night's quarter final before collapsing in the second half.

Olsen said: "It's terrible because I thought we could win this game. After the first half in which we played some good football and created some chances, we made some bad mistakes. We had created chances but we did not take them and you have to be brutal. It's all about concentration and we then made three mistakes for the goals and you cannot make these kind of mistakes at this level."

Olsen blamed his own team for allowing Milan Baros free reign to score his two goals. He added: "He's a good player but nevertheless it was we who brought him into the game until then we had controlled him and the other players completely."
