Danish winger Jesper Gronkjaer rejoins the Danish squad in Portugal today having stayed at home for the death of his mother.
The 26-year-old player will take part in the squad's training session today at their southern Portuguese base of Alvor.
Gronkjaer's mother died from cancer last Thursday and her funeral was on Monday.
The Danes got their Euro 2004 campaign off to a good start with a 0-0 draw against Italy on Monday, but Gronkjaer is likely to be in the line-up for the next game against Bulgaria in Braga on Friday.
Capped 46 times, Gronkjaer is a veteran of the last Euro championships and played in all of Denmark's matches at the 2002 World Cup finals where they went out to England in the second round.
However, his form for Chelsea was patchy last season and is almost certain to leave in the summer, probably to Birmingham.
