Italian coach Giovanni Trapattoni tonight named his starting line-up for tomorrow's European Championships Group C game against Denmark. Trapattoni opted against any surprises when he named his team. He has decided to stick with Simone Perrotta and Cristiano Zanetti in the defensive midfield roles and handed Alessandro Del Piero the slot on the left flank ahead of AS Roma's Antonio Cassano.
Trapattoni said: "Del Piero has convinced me that he can play in that role."
Argentine-born winger Mauro Camoranesi was selected ahead of Stefano Fiore on the right flank while Milan midfielders Gennaro Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo start on the bench.
