Led by inspired skipper Kevin Hunt, Bohemians stretched their unbeaten run to six games to go second in the table over night with a 3-0 victory over Drogheda United.
The Gypsies got off to a fine start, taking the game to the home side and they claimed their reward on 13 minutes with Hunt shooting home from ten yards from Tony Grant’s lay off.
Hunt cleared off the line at the other end before Drogheda gifted Bohs a very soft second goal on 27 minutes. Drogheda captain Danny O’Connor passed straight to Glen Crowe who lobbed Gary Rogers from 20 yards.
Hunt sealed the win with his second goal on 71 minutes when turning to drill home from 15 yards following a corner.
