Muzzy Izzet has joined Birmingham City on a free transfer from Leicester City. The 29-year-old Turkey international has signed a three-year deal for the Blues starting on July 1. Izzet's current deal with Leicester is due to expire later this month on June 30.
London-born Izzet began his career at Chelsea, before joining Leicester City in 1996 for a fee of £800,000, in a quest for first team football. He made 342 appearances for the Foxes and scored 47 goals.
