Celtic's Henrik Larsson, who finished his career with the club on a high today netting two goals in the Bhoys' 3-1 Scottish Cup win over Dunfermline, was typically modest afterwards. The Swede bid an emotional farewell to the Celtic fans but refused to take all the plaudits despite inspiring his side's fightback.

He said: "This is great. We wanted to finish the season on a good note. But this is not about me, this is about the team getting a result. Winning today is fantastic."

Larsson's team-mates paid tribute to the Swedish striker, who has come out of international retirement to spearhead Sweden's attack in Euro 2004.

Jackie McNamara said: "We expected him to go out with a bang and he did just that. He was magnificent and deserves all his success."

Neil Lennon echoed his sentiments, saying: "It is going to take a lot of money to replace him. It is unfair to compare him with any other player. We might not see his like again."

Alan Thompson was not surprised to see Larsson produce a match-winning performance. "That's Henrik, that's what he does. We'll miss him," said Thompson. It was difficult in the heat but we played well. Dunfermline gave us a tough game," he added.
