Arsenal's Reyes left out of Spanish Euro squad

Arsenal striker Jose Antonio Reyes and Valencia's Mista have been left out of Spain's Euro 2004 squad announced today by coach Inaki Saez in Madrid.

Reyes and  Mista - who played a starring role as Valencia claimed the UEFA Cup with victory over Marseille last night - were the two big names omitted
by Saez. Instead he gave surprise call-ups to Real Betis defender Juanito and Barcelona utility man Gabri.
