Celtic are considering a move for Brazilian Marcio Amoroso. The 29-year-old striker, who is a free agent, has arrived at Parkhead for a trial and is expected to train with the first team over the next few days.
Amoroso left Borussia Dortmund earlier in the season when his contract was terminated, with the German club criticising him for showing a "lack of respect to his employer".
Bolton Wanderers, who are Celtic's rivals for another Brazilian superstar Rivaldo, have already been linked with the player.
