Mark Kinsella has been released by West Brom ahead of their return to the Premiership next season. Ireland international Kinsella, who signed in January from Aston Villa, will be looking for a new club alongside seven other Baggies players.

The others released are Phil Gilchrist, Joost Volmer, Alassane N'Dour, Tamika  Mkandawire, Delroy Facey and Daniel Crane.

Baggies manager Gary Megson is about to strengthen his squad for their return to the Premiership after admitting that the club lack the quality needed to survive in top flight football.
