The Republic of Ireland Under 18 team rounded off the Viseu Tournament with a 1-1 draw with Norway on Saturday morning.
Having won the tournament following a 1-0 victory against hosts Portugal on Thursday, the pressure was off Noel O’Reilly’s side. The manager made seven changes to the side that started against Portugal.
Ireland got off to a perfect start against the physically dominant Norwegians with Joe O'Brien flicking home a Kevin Thornton cross, though Norway came back strongly in the second half to earn a draw.
