The Republic of Ireland are to play away to Poland in a friendly international in April . 

The match has been confirmed for Bydgoszcz on April 28. The kick off will be 6:00 local time, 5:00 Irish time.

The visit to Bydgoszcz, 200 kilometres North West of Warsaw, will be Ireland's 22nd clash with Poland. The last meeting between the two was in 1991, when Jack Charlton's team drew 3-3 with the Poles in Poznan.

The Ireland Under 21 side, fresh from their victory in the Madeira International Tournament, will also travel to Poland for a clash in Grudziadz against the Polish Under 21 side.
