Former Longford Town assistant manager Aaron Callaghan has been confirmed as the new manager of eircom League First Division club Athlone Town. Callaghan takes over from Jimmy Greene who resigned last month after the St Mel's Park club finished fourth from bottom at the end of a disappointing season.
