Veteran two to keep on wandering

Bray Wanderers have been given a close season boost with news that veterans Maurice Farrell and Eddie Gormley look set to stay for one more year.

Both had been expected to retire at the end of last season, but are now expected to stay on another year of summer soccer.

Farrell, the club’s longest serving player with 310 first team appearances, has admitted his intention to continue playing.

Gormley, a former title-winner with St Patrick’s Athletic, could acquire some additional coaching duties in what may turn out to be his farewell campaign in a playing capacity.
