Steven Gerrard has today signed a new Liverpool contract which ties him to the Anfield club until 2007. The Liverpool skipper and England midfielder put pen to paper on a new deal at Anfield this afternoon.
The news comes as a major boost to Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier, who also saw Jamie Carragher and Chris Kirkland sign new Anfield deals earlier this month.
