Sunderland have signed Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Alan Quinn on loan, with striker Michael Reddy moving in the opposite direction.
Dubliner Quinn is expected to go straight into the Black Cats squad for tomorrow's clash with Division One leaders Sheffield United, while Kilkenny man Reddy could make his second Owls debut at Brentford after a spell at Hillsborough last season.
Both terms expire on January 3, 2004.
