The eircom League has confirmed that Shamrock Rovers' home game with Cork City, originally set for Friday night in Dublin, will now be played at Turner's Cross this Saturday night (7pm kick-off). Rovers had been playing their home games at Richmond Park, home of St Patrick's Athletic, but were evicted following crowd trouble at the recent game against Bohemians. Despite the change in venue, the game will still be officially considered a Rovers home game.
Meanwhile, Bohemians' home fixture against Shelbourne at Dalymount Park, originally scheduled for Friday, August 1, will now take place on Monday, September 29, with a kick-off time of 7.45pm. Cork City's home fixture against Shelbourne, originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, will now be played on Monday, October 13, with a kick-off time of 7.45pm.
