Former Derry City boss Felix Healy has emerged as the favourite to take over as manager of First Division side Finn Harps. Seven candidates are still in the running to take over from Jonathan Speak who was sacked less than a fortnight ago but a decision will not be taken until a full board meeting of the club takes place on Sunday.
According to club chairman John Willie McNulty, talks have also been held with Roddy Collins, the former Bohemians and Carlisle boss, John Cunningham, who was his assistant at the Cumbrian club, and Peter Nicholas, a former Welsh international and Chelsea player.
Noel King, whose managerial career included spells with Derry City and Shamrock Rovers, has also been spoken to. Speak's assistant, Sean McGowan, who took charge of their 3-1 win in Kilkenny, has also been interviewed.
