Bohemians are through to the semi-final of the FAI Carlsberg Cup after defeating Drogheda United 3-0 at Dalymount this evening. Robbie Doyle scored the opener after 13 minutes with a header after a Kevin Hunt cross found its way to him with the help of Glen Crowe.
The second goal on 82 minutes was one of genuine quality. A low cross found its way to Dave Morris on the edge of the area, he cut inside and sent a fierce shot into the top corner of the Drogheda goal.
Then, with only minutes left, Drogheda's Pat Scully was sent-off for a late challenge on Paul Keegan and to add insult to injury Fergal Harkin made it 3-0 deep in stoppage time.
