Rangers winger Neil McCann is set to join Southampton in a £1.25million deal according to the Premiership outfit. The 28-year-old is no stranger to Saints manager Gordon Strachan, who tried to take him to Coventry during his time in charge there.
Now, however, McCann looks likely to be heading out of Ibrox in a reported£1.25million deal.
A Saints spokesman said: "The decision now rests with McCann although, with no future at Ibrox, he is unlikely to turn down such an appealing escape route."
