Alex Ferguson watched Juan Sebastian Veron lead Manchester United to a 4-1 rout of Juventus in the Giants Stadium and again insisted the Argentine would remain at Old Trafford. Veron collected the man of the match honours after United's 4-1 win with goals from Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And, while the Argentine international continues to be linked with a £15million move to Chelsea, Ferguson maintained his stance that the midfielder is going nowhere.
Ferguson said: "People keep seeing him on this tour and people still keep saying he is going. Unless he is going to be whisked from right under my nose they are wrong. Seba is a marvellous player. He has wonderful imagination, he always wants the ball and has a great engine. He was outstanding tonight."
