West Brom midfielder Jason Koumas has been voted the club's 'Player of the year' by Baggies supporters in his first season there. Koumas was signed from Tranmere last summer and has looked one of the few Baggies players possessing enough quality to compete successfully in the Premiership.
He has been linked with a host of clubs, including Everton and Southampton, now that Albion have been relegated from the Premiership. But the Welsh international last week pledged to try and help Gary Megson's side regain their top flight status next season.
Koumas said: "This is a great honour for me. I am pleased with my form and feel the step up from the Second Division has been comfortable for me."
