Ex Arsenal goalkeeper Alex Manninger has issued a 'come and get me plea' to Celtic boss Martin O'Neill. The Austrian goalkeeper, who is currently seeing out the remaining weeks of a short-term contract with Italian club Torino after his move to Espanyol collapsed, is available on a free this summer.
O'Neill has Robert Douglas, Magnus Hedman, David Marshall and Javier Sanchez Broto, but the Spaniard's contract expires at the end of the season and Manninger is closely monitoring the situation.
He told The Scottish Daily Mail: "I really want another chance with Celtic because they are one of the biggest clubs in Europe. If they make a firm offer then there is simply no other choice, no other club that I would choose."
