St Pat's and Shamrock Rovers shared the spoils at Richmond Park in a lacklustre Dublin derby. Rovers took an early lead thanks to a penalty from Stephen Gough after just three minutes, but the home side equalised before the break with a cracking shot from Tony Bird. However there was no more goals in the second half, leaving both sides without a win this season.
Meanwhile at O2 Park in Drogheda, Mark Murphy and Sean O'Neill scored late goals to give Waterford all three points against the home side.
In the first division Monaghan enjoyed a big 5-2 win over Kilkenny, while Dublin City scored a late goal to secure all three points against Dundalk.
