Damien Duff has declared himself fit for Blackburn's match against Manchester United on Saturday after overcoming a slight worry about his troublesome hamstring. The Republic of Ireland winger, who has been linked with a move to United and Liverpool in the summer, came off before the end of the 1-0 win over Charlton at the weekend after feeling a twinge in his hamstring.
However, Duff has not suffered any ill effects and will be ready for the trip to Old Trafford. It means Blackburn manager Graeme Souness will have a full squad for the game with only David Thompson, who will not play until next season, missing.
