West Brom have received a welcome boost in their bid to save their Premiership status after three of their players escaped the possibility of suspension. Captain Derek McInnes, wing-back Neil Clement and striker Danny Dichio have all collected four yellow cards - one away from a statutory one-match ban.
But a Football Association amnesty comes into force at the end of February and, if the trio are cautioned again, they will now escape with only a warning.
The only player under threat of being suspended is defender-midfielder Sean Gregan who has seen yellow eight times during the current season. Gregan has to avoid getting a further two yellow cards before the second Sunday in April - when another FA amnesty comes into force - otherwise he will be banned for two games.
