Shelbourne finished their eircom Premier Division campaign in style with a comprehensive 3-1 victory over relegated Bray Wanderers at Tolka Park this evening. The game was of little consequence to either side as Shels had already secured the UEFA Cup spot by finishing second to Bohemians, while Bray's fate was sealed several weeks ago.
However, Pat Fenlon's side were determined to end the season on a high and their night got off to a great start when Wesley Charles gave them the lead with a fourth minute own-goal. Jim Gannon added a second after 73 minutes with Ollie Cahill adding a second nine minutes later.
Philip Keogh gave Bray some reason to cheer when he pulled one back on 83, but Shels ran out comfortable 3-1 winners in the end.
