Bohs take a point at Dalymount Park

Leaders Bohemians have extended their lead to five points at the top of the eircom League Premier Division table following a 1-1 draw with Drogheda United at Dalymount Park tonight. Stephen Gray opened the scoring for the visitors in the 20th minute, and they managed to hold onto that lead until the 71st minute when Gary O'Neill secured a vital point for Stephen Kenny's side.

At Richmond Park, Shamrock Rovers secured all three points with a 3-1 win over Bray Wanderers. Stephen McGuinness put the home-side ahead in the 24th minute before Stephen Fox put the visitors back on level terms just one minute later. However goals from James Keddy and Tony Grant in the 48th and 77th minute respectively gave all three points to Liam Buckley's side. Meanwhile at Belfield, it finished 0-0 between UCD and St Patrick's Athletic.

In the first division, Limerick overcame Athlone Town 3-1 at St Mels Park. An own-goal from Pat Purcell in the 51st minute put Athlone 1-0 up before two goals from Anto Mannering in the 69th and 90th minute and another from Colm Heffernan secured victory for the visitors.
