Egypt defender Ibrahim Said is set to arrive on loan at Everton when the transfer window opens next week. Manager David Moyes is hoping a deal can be reached with his club Al Ahly in the next few days.
Everton spokesman Ian Ross said: "Ibrahim Said is one of several players David Moyes is interested in. Negotiations to bring him over on a loan period have been ongoing are now at an advanced stage."
