O'Neill hits back at favouritism claims

Celtic boss Martin O'Neill has hit back at claims that referees in Scotland favour the Old Firm clubs, insisting that decisions regularly go against his team. Hearts boss Craig Levein criticised Hugh Dallas after the referee sent Alan Maybury off against Rangers on Sunday while Hibernian`s Bobby Williamson has also made similar comments about the Old Firm.

But O'Neill disputes these claims. "You would say that I've got a complete bias here, but I don't see it like that, he said. "I see a number of penalties being turned down here on a regular basis, and there was an absolutely blatant one at Dundee United for Henrik Larsson. The referee from at least three yards waved play on, so I don't see it like that at all. I'm not so sure we get all these decisions people talk about."
