Joseph Yobo has now agreed to put pen to paper on a long-term contract at Goodison Park. The Blues last week concluded a deal with French side Marseille and discussions between the 22-year-old, his advisors and the club have now been finalised.
The deal, believed to be for four years, will cost the club around £3.5million plus the £1million already paid for the 12-month loan.
