Duff hoping for 'Battle of Britain' start

Damien Duff and Andy Cole will both be hoping to play a part in Blackburn Rovers' crunch UEFA Cup second round first leg tie against Celtic at Parkhead this evening. Duff has not played since suffering a hamstring injury while playing for Ireland earlier this month, while Cole has missed Blackburn's last two games through a similar problem, but both will be expecting to feature at some stage tonight.

Celtic have good news on the injury front themselves as keeper Robert Douglas is back in training after missing Sunday's 4-1 defeat of Dunfermline due to a stomach bug. And Stilian Petrov has said he will play despite breaking a bone in his hand in the same game.

Meanwhile, Graeme Souness has insisted that his team will play to win saying, "We won't be going trying to get a 0-0 because I don't have the players to do that. We don't encourage them to do that, they don't want to do that. They know their strengths are going forward. If we are going to win there, we are going to have to score more than one goal because we are not the best at keeping clean sheets."

The game kicks off at 8.05pm this evening, with the return leg at Ewood Park on the 14th November.
