Latapy could soon be on his way

Rangers star Russell Latapy has admitted his time with the Scottish giants could soon be up. The former Trinidad and Tobago international has only made two appearances for the Glasgow club so far this season and on both occasions he was only a substitute. With his contract expiring next summer, Latapy admitted he is considering putting in a transfer request when the transfer window re-opens in January.

"Obviously, at my stage I know that I have got a limited time in the game and because of that I want the two or three years I have left to be memorable to me. But coming to a club like Rangers I knew it was always going to be hard," he said.

"I have given it thought. It's too soon to make a final decision because maybe in two weeks' time I will be playing, but there is a possibility if I am not involved in January I would give serious consideration to doing something. That's part of the game. At every single club, the players who are not involved want to play. At this present time I can't complain because the boys have been playing well, but hopefully if I get my opportunity I can do well and have a longer run in the team," he added.
