There were wins for Limerick, Sligo Rovers and Kilkenny City in the Eircom League First Division Cup tonight. Limerick beat Athlone Town at Jackman Park. Stephen Kelly twice put Athlone ahead, but Limerick equalised through Stephen O'Flynn and then Brendan Hughes, and with 10 minutes to go O'Flynn scored the winner for the home side.
Elsewhere Kilkenny City defeated Cobh Ramblers at Buckley Park with Donal Golden scoring the only goal of the game just before half time, while at Oriel Park Dundalk went down 2-0 to Sligo Rovers.
