In the First division Cup at Terryland Park today Dundalk and Galway played out a 1-1 draw. Dundalk took the lead through Chris Malone on the quarter hour, but Barry Moran equalised for Galway in the 49th minute.
Elsewhere Monaghan United drew 1-1 with Finn Harps, Sligo Rovers defeated Dublin City 1-0, while in the South series of the Cup Cobh Ramblers were defeated 2-1 by Limerick.
