Rivaldo and Ronaldo struck second half goals to put Brazil into the World Cup quarter-finals with a tense and hard-fought 2-0 victory over Belgium on Monday.

Rivaldo struck a magnificent goal in the 67th minute, first chesting down a Ronaldinho cross, then teeing it up with his left foot before swivelling to fire home a powerful left-foot volley from the edge of the box. Ronaldo, who has also scored in every match, claimed the second in the 87th minute, his fifth of the tournament.
