Co-hosts Japan triggered nationwide celebrations when they reached the second round of the World Cup on Friday with a 2-0 victory over Tunisia which put them on top of group H. Japan's heroes were Hiroaki Morishima, who scored within three minutes of coming on as a substitute after the halftime interval, and Hidetoshi Nakata who netted the second in the 75th minute.
