France have gone out of the World Cup after suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Denmark. Goals from Dennis Rommedhal in the first half and then Jon Dahl Tomassonm's controversial effort in the second were enough to secure Denmark's progression to the next round alongside Senegal, who drew 3-3 with Uruguay.
