UEFA final goes ahead

The UEFA Cup final will go ahead in Rotterdam tomorrow as planned despite the killing yesterday of Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn. UEFA denied suggestions the game may be postponed because of security fears after Fortuyn, known for his far-right, anti-Muslim views, was shot in Hilversum near Amsterdam.

Tomorrow's game will take place at the Feyenoord Stadium with the home club facing German champions Borussia Dortmund.
