Former Scotland coach Craig Brown has been named as the new manager of Preston North End. The club's official website has confirmed that Brown will be unveiled as David Moyes' successor this afternoon.
It is the 61-year-old's first managerial appointment since he resigned as coach of the Scotland national team last October after their failure to qualify for this summer's World Cup finals. Kelham O'Hanlon had been in temporary charge of the first team since Moyes left Deepdale last month to take over at Everton.
