Celtic midfielder Stilian Petrov is set to secure his future at Parkhead by putting pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him in Glasgow until 2007. The Bulgarian, who has been in impressive form for the Hoops since returning from a leg break, is keen to sew up the new deal but says next week's Scottish Cup final against Rangers is his main priority.
He told the Sunday Mail, "Right now the important thing is the cup final but after that I expect to sign my new contract. I've been talking with the club and I am happy with the way things have progressed. The fact I am willing to stay for another five years shows the belief I have in the club and Martin O'Neill."
