Arsenal secure new sponsorship

Arsenal have signed a four-year sponsorship deal with O2 which will net then between £6m and £10m sterling over the next two years. The Gunners have signed up to a wide range of services in an interactive deal with 02, which is the brand name of mmO2, formerly a part of BT. The deal, which includes an option for Arsenal to review the agreement after two years, marks the end of the club's relationship with Sega with whom they signed a three-year deal in July 1999.

From August this year, O2 will become the official club sponsor and exclusive mobile communications partner to Arsenal, in the biggest club sponsorship deal the Gunners have ever signed. In addition to a club record sponsorship fee, Arsenal will also receive a percentage share of network revenue from jointly branded interactive mobile data and audio services.
