Kelly to capitalise on Woodgate injury

Irish international Gary Kelly will return to the Leeds United starting line-up for their visit to Aston Villa following Jonathan Woodgate's latest injury setback during the week. Regular right-back Danny Mills will move into the centre of defence alongside Dominic Matteo because of Woodgate's absence with a broken jaw, sustained in an unprovoked street attack in his native Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.

David O'Leary is now without four centre-backs with skipper Rio Ferdinand, Michael Duberry and Lucas Radebe all joining Woodgate on the sidelines. The news will come as a relief to both Kelly and Ireland manager Mick McCarthy with the World Cup finals less than seven weeks away.

Ian Harte is expected to continue at left-back, while Robbie Keane could miss out again despite breaking his four month scoring drought against Sunderland on Sunday.
