The FAI have announced the nominations for this year's C&M Construction/PFAI Player of the Year Award, with beaten FAI Cup finalists Bohemians boasting two of the six Premier Division candidates. Last year's winner Glen Crowe has been nominated again following another prolific season, while teammate Kevin Hunt is another possible winner following an exceptional season in the Bohs midfield.
League champions Shelbourne will be represented by Owen Heary, while Shamrock Rovers and Derry City will be looking to Tony Grant and Darren Kelly respectively to take home the award.
