Tottenham Hotspur and Blackburn battle for the Worthington Cup in Cardiff today at 3pm with the winners rewarded with a UEFA Cup spot. Spurs defenders Anthony Gardner and Goran Bunjevcevic have declared themselves fit after recovering from injuries. Darren Anderton and Ledley King are also expected to be fit after they missed last weekend's FA Cup victory over Tranmere with a hamstring injury and tonsillitis respectively.
With Dean Richards cup-tied, Hoddle is relying on King and Gardner to join Chris Perry in a back three. But striker Sergei Rebrov (achilles) is a doubt.
Blackburn manager Graeme Souness has a Cup final selection headache with Tugay Garry Flitcroft and Craig Short all suspended and Lucas Neill ineligible. Alan Mahon is tipped to fill in for Tugay, partnering David Dunn in the centre of midfield. Striker Yordi, signed on loan from Real Zaragoza, will make his debut at some stage.
"I think the one above all who we will miss is Tugay, because I think on Sunday it's going to be a football match," said Souness. However, Blackburn will have Damien Duff, Matt Jansen, Andy Cole and Keith Gillespie available - the four are all potential match winners.
