Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been given a boost ahead of tomorrow's showdown against Liverpool at Highbury with the news that Tony Adams should be ready to return to training in a week. Adams had been on the verge of a first-team comeback after a lengthy lay-off due to a foot injury, only to suffer a setback when he played in a reserve game earlier this week.
Fears had been expressed that the 35-year-old former England international had suffered a major setback in his recovery programme. However, Wenger said: "I expect Tony to train again in a week's time."
