The dates and venues for the third round of this year's Carlsberg FAI Cup, to be played over the weekend commencing Friday January 11, have been finalised. Defending champions Bohemians continue their defence of the trophy when they meet First Division Cobh Ramblers at Dalymount Park, while Dublin City host Bray Wanderers at Whitehall and Shamrock Rovers entertain Monaghan United at Richmond Park. There are two fixtures on the Saturday evening, with an all-First Division clash between Sligo Rovers and Limerick FC at The Showgrounds, while Finn Harps entertain Shelbourne in Ballybofey, both games kicking-off at 7.30pm.
The quarter-final line-up should be completed on Sunday evening after the final series of games, which kick-off when Cherry Orchard host UCD at Capco Park on the Naas Road at 2.00pm. Kilkenny City face Dundalk at Buckley Park 30 minutes later, while St Kevin's Boys' glamour clash with Premier Division Derry City at Whitehall gets underway at 3.00pm.
