Dublin City are through to the third round of the FAI Cup after they easily overcame non-league Glenmore Dundrum in their second round replay at Whitehall tonight. City set up a third round tie at home to Bray Wanderers with a 5-1 victory thanks to two goals from Tony Sheridan, two from Robbie Farrell and one from Alban Mysa. Glenmore got a consolation strike through Archbold in the 75th minute but by that stage, City were 4-0 up. Both teams were also reduced to 10 men in the 83rd minute when Skelly and Doolan were sent-off.
Meanwhile, in the eircom Premier Division tonight, Derry City and Dundalk drew 1-1 at the Brandywell. Derry opened the scoring with a header from defender Darren Kelly in the 30th minute but Dundalk's John Flanagan headed home the equaliser from a Jonathan Prizeman free kick on 75 minutes.
